Police Offers 10M Reward For Ndiga Clan Head Hiding Killers As Museveni Decorates Brave Boda Boda Man
The Uganda police has placed a Ug.Shs.10M bounty for anyone with information leading to the arrest of Luggya Bbosa Tabula, a prime suspect in the cold murder of the former Ndiga clan head -the Lwomwa Eng. Daniel Bbosa.
Police spokesperson ,SCP Fred Enanga , told a media briefing that Luggya Bbosa, is believed to be hiding in the islands after escaped arrest at the weekend .
“The Directorate of CID appeals to whoever has information which may lead to the arrest and prosecution of Lujja Bbosa Tabula, aged 38, whose photograph has been shared, for his alleged role in the violent murder by shooting of Eng. Daniel Bbosa; a former Ndiga clan leader to pass it on in confidence to the nearest police station or ring the telephone contact number of CID Headquarters on 0741-111-333,” Mr Enanga stated.

“A substantial cash reward of Shs10 million awaits any member of the public who avails us credible information that can lead to his arrest,” added Enanga.
“We would like to inform the public that the Joint Crime Intelligence/CID task teams, in coordination with the KMP territorial team, have in custody seven suspects, including the hospitalized Lujja Noah, under guard, for being part of the suspects, behind the violent murder by shooting of businessman and clan leader Eng. Daniel Bbosa on 25.02.2024, at around 6 pm, in Lungujja Parish, as he was heading to his home in Kikandwa zone,” he said.
Elsewhere , President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, in the company of First Lady Janet Kataaha Museveni, has awarded Mr. Abdul Katabaazi with the Nalubaale Medal for his bravery in the capture of the armed thugs that killed the Ndiga clan head. The function took place at State House Entebbe during a cabinet meeting.
The Nalubaale Medal is awarded to all civilian activists who have contributed to the political development of Uganda, either through armed struggle or civil disobedience, pursuant to section 3 of the National Honours and Awards Act of 2001, as amended.
Katabaazi, a resident and boda boda rider in Kikandwa Zone, Lungujja, Rubaga Division, chased and caused the captured of the fleeing killers on Sunday, February 25th, 2024.
“I want to congratulate you; you have done a heroic job. You have now become a bush war fighter like me,” President Museveni said.
