Eagles Rugby Club Player Ronnie Kayondo Has Died After Sustaining A Head Injury During A game
Kampani Eagles Rugby Club’s player, Ronnie Kayondo, has died following a head injury sustained during a Rugby Premiership game against Toyota Buffaloes on Saturday evening at Kyadondo Rugby Club.
Kayondo died at Kampala Hospital. Kampani Eagles and the Uganda Rugby Union , in a statement said Kayondo passed away while receiving medical attention at the hospital.
“The Uganda Rugby Union, Kampani Eagles RFC and the wider rugby community mourn the loss of this promising young player, who had so much to offer. Our thoughts and prayers are with Ronnie’s family, friends, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.”
