No Bags Of Money Were Stolen From NDA Boss’s Residence
Management of the National Drug Ajthority (NDA) has come out to clear the air that no bags of money were stolen from their boss Dr. David Nahamya’s residence following malicious pots on social media .
“Whereas there was attempted robbery at the residence of our Secretary to the Authority (Executive Director), the circulating reports are inaccurate and malicious with intension to put the image of NDA and our ED in bad Light ,” a statement released by NDA reads in part .
“We therefore want to clarify that there were NO “bags of money ” stolen from Mr.Nahamya’s residence . what is true is that six (6) thieves sneaked into Mr. Nahamya’s residence, handcuffed of the maids and while they searched the house, another house -helper came in and made an alarm that attracted the attention of the neighbours who helped to arrest two of the thieves while the other four managed to escape . The two suspects are already in police custody as investigations continue,”the statement signed by the NDA PRO Abiaz Rwamwiri adds.
Rwamwiri further stated that where as the attempted theft is a private matters , it was concerning that the originators of the circulating misinformation have dragged NDA in a fabricated exaggeration.
