NDA Operation:Several Arrested Selling Government drugs
National Drug Authority (NDA) has conducted an operation in drug stores in Kampala city center (Wilson Street) and arrested 10 suspects.
NDA also recovered over 40 boxes of government drugs including ARVs, HIV testing kits, relabeled malaria and HIV testing kits.
Several diagnostic devices of HIV, malaria were found having their expiry dates tampered with by extending their shelf life.
According to Abyaz Rwamwiri ,the NDA spokesperson, this is not only illegal but dangerous business causing losses to government.
