Busoga’s Kyabazinga, Wife Welcome Third Son On King’s Birthday

The Kyabazinga of Busoga, His Majesty William Gabula Nadiope IV, and his wife, Her Royal Highness Jovia Mutesi, have welcomed their third son in a special royal celebration, with the newborn prince arriving on the same day his father marks his birthday.

The royal couple announced the birth of Prince Nadiope Ezra Josiah, who was born on November 1, 2026, describing the arrival as a moment of immense joy and gratitude to Almighty God.

In an announcement shared by the Kyabazinga on Thursday, November 5, the royal family revealed that the newborn prince shares his birthday with the Kyabazinga, making the occasion even more memorable for the family and the entire Kingdom of Busoga.

“In a special and remarkable coincidence, the young Prince shares his birthday with His Majesty, making this occasion even more memorable for the Royal Family and the Kingdom of Busoga,” the announcement stated.

The royal family also confirmed that both the Inhebantu of Busoga, Jovia Mutesi, and the newborn prince are in excellent health following the birth.

The announcement further expressed appreciation to the people of Busoga, family members, friends and well-wishers for their prayers, love and goodwill during the joyful occasion.

The royal couple accompanied the announcement with a biblical message from Psalm 127:3, which reads: “Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from Him.”

The birth of Prince Ezra Josiah comes after the royal family welcomed twin boys, Prince William Ethan Nadiope and Prince Arnold Eli Nadiope, on August 27, 2025.
