Pastor Patience Museveni Rwabwogo, the founder and senior pastor of Covenant Nations Church and daughter of President Yoweri Museveni, was consecrated as an Episcopal Bishop on August 23, 2026.
The ceremony coincided with her church’s 20th-anniversary celebrations.
President Yoweri Museveni together with First Lady Janet Museveni presided over the even where Patience Rwabwogo was consecrated by USA pentecostal Bishop and International evangelist Dr. LaDonna Osborn.
Dr. LaDonna Osborn was assisted by other African pastors led by renowned Nigerian pastor ,Enoch Adeboye and his wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye, the global leaders of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Nigeria.
The colourful occassion was attended by prominent political religious and cultural leaders in Uganda , that included Vice President Jessca Alupo, NRM party Vice Chairman Moses Kigongo among others .
