The PLU Central Committee has convened its first meeting at its Naguru headquarters since Chairman Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba appointed new members.
The gathering brings together the newly appointed committee to discuss key priorities and the roadmap ahead, with notable attendees including Michael Nuwagira Toyota, Andrew Mwenda, Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa, Kiryowa Kiwanuka, Balaam Barugahara, Jane Ruth Aceng, and Edwin Karugire, among others.
The session brought together newly appointed leaders to review strategic priorities, organizational restructuring, and the roadmap ahead, sources said .
The Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) Central Committee is the key leadership and decision-making organ of the political pressure group, led by Chairman Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
The committee underwent a major restructuring and expansion to align with national mobilisation and economic goals.
