First Daughter Mrs Natasha Karugire Museveni has shared a brief message of gratitude to God alongside new family photographs featuring her mother, First Lady Janet Museveni.
“Thank you Lord Jesus,” Natasha wrote in an Instagram post accompanying the photographs.
The images show Natasha alongside the First Lady and her sister, Ms Diana Kyaremera.
The post comes against the backdrop of the First Lady’s recent public account of her recovery from a serious health scare. In June, Janet Museveni said her experience had strengthened her faith and described her recovery as confirmation that “the God I talk about is a living God.”
President Yoweri Museveni had earlier disclosed that the First Lady experienced a life-threatening health challenge on March 21, 2026, but survived and was recovering well. He attributed her survival to God’s intervention alongside the work of medical professionals.
Natasha’s latest message, accompanied by the family photographs, has offered another glimpse into the family’s expression of gratitude and faith following the period.
The post follows Janet Museveni’s own message of thanksgiving in which she thanked Ugandans for their prayers and support during her health challenge.
