Kiira Motors Corporation Holds Thanksgiving and Dedication Prayers to Mark Uganda’s 62nd Independence Anniversary

Ahead of Uganda’s 62nd independence anniversary ,Uganda’s automotive industry flagship , Kiira Motors Corporation has held a thanksgiving and dedication prayers.
The prayers which were held at the Kiira Vehicle Plant in Jinja were attended by Dr. Monica Musenero Masanza, the Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation, who was the guest of honour.
Bishop Joshua Lwere led the dedication prayers and invoked blessings for the team at Kiira Motors Corporation led by the Executive Chairman , Prof. Sandy Stevens Tickodri-Togboa and CEO Paul Isaac Musasizi to remain dedicated to the growth of Uganda’s E- mobility industry in Uganda and the African continent.
Eng. Brian Buhanda, General Manager of NEC Construction Works and Engineering Ltd, represented Lt Gen James Mugira, the Managing Director of National Enterprise Corporation, at the ceremony.
The Kiira Motors Corporation Investment represents Uganda’s strategic endeavor to spur technological growth, environmental stewardship, job creation, and international competitiveness.
The Kiira Vehicle Plant (KVP) is a premium manufacturing complex positioned to serve the regional market with the best-in-class mobility products.
The KVP is the first of its kind in the region. It is the biggest, most capable and most competent bus manufacturing plant on the African Continent.
Therefore ,Kiira Vehicle Plant is more than just an industrial complex; it is a strategic investment that positions Uganda as a key player in the mobility industrial value chain, a sector recognized by the government of Uganda for its potential to drive economic transformation.
As a state enterprise , Kiira Motors Corporation is poised to contribute significantly to import substitution, job creation, technology transfer, and ultimately, the realization of Uganda’s vision to become an upper-middle-income economy by 2040.
