UCAA Holds ICAO Aviation Security Cris Management Training
A five-day ICAO Aviation Security Crisis Management workshop to equip middle and senior management teams of Entebbe International Airport with skills to organize, plan, assess and respond to acts of unlawful interference has today been opened by the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority’s Director Safety, Security and Economic Regulation, Eng. Ronny Barongo at Protea Hotel in Entebbe.
The workshop, organised in collaboration with the Civil Aviation Safety and Security Oversight Agency (CASSOA), will enable participants to understand the elements necessary to effectively respond to major security emergencies in the aviation environment.
Participants include representatives from security organizations, ground handling agencies, airport staff, and other airport stakeholders.
