Cabinet has resolved that a new speaker will be elected on Friday March 25th , 2022 to replace the late Jacob Oulanyah who succumbed to colon cancer in a USA hospital .
The Minister of Information Dr. Chris Baryomunsi said a in statement released this evening that a program for the late Oulanyah ‘s burial shall be released by the funeral organising committee in due course . The NRM Parliamentary Caucus is set to convene to agree on a candidate that shall be elected to replace the late Speaker of Parliament.
