Uganda Civil Aviation Authority has revised and increased parking fees at the refurbished and expanded Entebbe Interntional Airport effective November 1st 2024.
The new fees are intended to deter motorists from abusing the airport parking facilities by parking for long hours and creating jam. The new measurers will also boost CAA revenue collections while keeping the new facilities to the best international standards .
Mr. Vianney Luggya explained that the charges will also help enhance efforts to continuously invest and upgrade facilities at Uganda’s international getaway . he said that the parking rates had not been revised since 2009 and needed adjustment to allow CAA improve service delivery to the increased number of passengers at the airport.
