BAR AVIATION LAUNCHES DOMESTIC FLIGHTS IN UGANDA
A new domestic airline Bar Aviation has launched domestic flights within Uganda in a major move to promote local tourism.
Bar Aviation officially launched its domestic Flights at Kajansi airfield in Kampala. The company ‘s Country Manager Anthony Njoroge, said that Bar Aviation will commence domestic flights on February,1st 2022.
It will fly to Pakuba, Chobe, Bugungu, Arua, Fort Portal, Kibale, Mweya, Kihihi and Kisoro among other destinations . The company has at least 17 aircraft.
State Minister for Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities ,Mr. Martin Mugarra Bahinduka presided over the launch event which was also attended by other Uganda tourism personalities- Dr. Gladys Kalema-Zikusoka, Lawrence Zikusoka, Amos Wekesa, Bonifence Byamukama, Vianney Luggya -the spokesman of Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA).
