Uganda’s Commander of Land Forces , Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba is in Kigali in frantic efforts to mend and restore diplomatic relations between Kampala and Kigali.
Sources said President Yoweri Museveni sent Gen Muhoozi who is also his son to deliver a special message to Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame. Recently Gen. Muhoozi has tweeted saying that President Kagame was his “uncle”.
This publication has not et received information about what transpired in the meeting between the Rwandan president and his special guest.
With Kampala opening up the economy after a devastating two year lockdown due to the Covid -19 pandemic improved relations between the two sister countries will be seen as a big bonus among Ugandans and Rwandans .
