President Yoweri Museveni who is also the Commander in Chief (CiC) has promoted nine police officers to the rank of senior Commissioner of Police (SCP) the third highest rank in the Police force.
Among those who have been promoted is the Dr. john Kamya , the former Commandant of the police’s Bwebajja Command and Senior Staff College.
Others who have been promoted include , Martin Amoru, Ubaldo Bamunoba, Beeta Chelimo , Elias Kassirabo , Franklin Kugonza , Ferry Kyomukama , Bazil Mugisha and Venis Baguma Tumuhimbise.
All those promoted have been at the rank of Commissioner of Police.
