KIWANDA HANDS OVER OFFICE ,LEAVES TOURISM MINISTRY ON A BICYCLE
Outgoing State Minister for Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities, Godfrey Kiwanda Ssubi, has handed over the to his successor , Martin Mugarra and left the Ministry premises at Rwenzori Courts while riding a sports bicycle.
The handover was witnessed by the Minister of Tourism Hon Tom Butime. In his brief remarks Kiwendo said that the new ministers have assumed office at a difficult time when the sector has been battered by the Covid-19 pandemic .
“I pray for you because now the country and the tourism sector is having a very big challenge of Covid-19. Hopefully the situation will get back to normal and we enjoy our wonderful adventures”.
The tourism fraternity thanked Hon Kiwanda for his innovations, commitment and determination to see the sector hit new milestones when he served as minister . “We pray that you continue to work with us in the sector,’ officials said.
