Govt Offers Free Railway Transport To Uganda Cranes Fans Going To Namboole Stadium
The government has offered free transport to fans going to Namboole stadium to support the Uganda Cranes in their match opener with traditional tough contenders Algeria .
This after President Yoweri Museveni offered a cash bonanza of Ug.Shs. 1.2bn to the cranes for each game they will win . Museveni is also expected to attend what is expected to be a very competitive encounter .

Ugandans are cheering for a good start for the Cranes in the month long TotalEnergies Africa Nations Championship 2024.
The Group C fixture will see a repeat of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier played earlier this year that saw the Algerians win 2-1 at Namboole.

Tanzania and Kenya who co-hosting the tourney with Uganda both won their opening games at the weekend beating Burkina Faso and DR Congo, respectively.
