Ugandan Elected President of the African Association For Public Administration

A Ugandan , Dr. John Nakabago has been elected the President of the Executive Committee of the African Association for Public Administration (AAPAM)- a pan African body that brings together all administrators and public service managers from all governments and the private sector on the African continent.

The elections were carried out during the 41st Annual Roundtable Conference which was held at the University of Western Cape from 6th to 9th December 2022. Elections were held for the Executive Committee and the Young Professionals Network Committee.
Dr. John Nakabago is the Director Finance and Administration at Uganda Management Institute (UMI).

For the Young Professionals Network, Mr. Rajab Lukwago- an Assistant Secretary from Uganda Virus Research Institute was voted President while Ms Saidah Malingha was elected the East African representation on the same committee.
