Prince Harry ‘lonely and isolated’ in California as its ‘starting to take its’ toll
Prince Harry could be tempted to return to the UK after being left ‘lonely and isolated’ in California, according to a royal expert.
The shock claim has come from journalist Phil Dampier – who said he has been told on “good authority” that Harry is struggling since he and Meghan Markle left to the United States.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to their current home in the Montecito district of Santa Barbara back in July 2020, where they are raising their two children, four-year-old Prince Archie and Princess Lilbet, two.
“Maybe that’s part of Meghan’s plan to isolate him from his friends as well as his family. I just don’t feel that he’s got a group of mates to go out and have a few beers with and unwind and relax, and talk about matey men things that we all like to do down the pub. He’s become completely dependent on her for his social life and when we see him and things like the Beyoncé concert, basketball matches and things like that Formula One he was at.”
Dampier also claimed that Harry is never pictured with group of friends of his own but is instead appears to be around “corporate types, people that he works with” which has taken “its toll on him”. According to the Express.co.uk, he said: “He doesn’t seem to be with a group of mates and I think this is having quite an effect on him and…when you think Christmas is coming out next month. It’s been the third Christmas he hasn’t seen his family. I think he’s becoming quite lonely and quite isolated. I don’t have any information about him wanting to move back here, but I think it’s starting to take its toll on him.”
Earlier this week, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were seen celebrating Halloween with Archie and Lilibet in their local neighbourhood. The quartet were seen out and about in Montecito with a host of other young families as they went trick or treating.
Archie held his dad’s hand, with a pumpkin basket in the other, ready to collect sweets. Archie appeared to be dressed as a skeleton meanwhile, Meghan carried her daughter who was dressed in a billowing pink costume. The family of four were pictured walking along the road with their neighbours in a clip that have gone viral on social media.
