Police has released the names of two of the three assassins that gunned down the Ndiga Clan leader, Daniel Bbosa on sudnay near his home.
Police Spokesperson Fred Enanga named the assassins as Enock Sserunkuuma, who was lynched by angry residents and Noah Luggya who is in stable condition and undergoing treatment at Mulago hospital . Ironically the youthful gunmen are both from the Ndiga Clan and also residents of Lungujja.
Gen .Katumba Wamala has hailed the brave residents who confronted the gunmen after they shot dead Eng. Bbosa . Gen. Katumba was speaking at the vigil held at the late Eng. Bbosa’s residence in Lungujja.
Enanga explains that a CT scan conducted on Luggya revealed no fracture and he is currently conscious and under the guard of Kampala Metropolitan Police. “We expect our teams to get very good information out of him as investigations continue,” Enanga stated.
Enanga also thanked residents for their vigilance and courage when they confronted the armed thugs as they tried to get away on a boda-boda bike with altered number plates .
The motorcycle, with its original number UFX 854F, was altered to read UEX 754E.
