Man Sentenced to 3 Years for Abusing 7 Justices of the Supreme Court

A panel of seven Supreme Court Justices led by Chief Justice Alphonse Owiny Dollo has found one Ivan Ssebadduka guilty of contempt of court and sentenced him to serve three years in Kitalya Government prison.
Ssebadduka referred to the Justices as an incompetent council of fools. The justices have now ruled that in order to protect the rule of law in the country and their mandate to serve justice as Judiciary, the non-remorseful Ssebadduka needs to first serve three years in jail.
Ssebadduka had earlier petitioned the Supreme Court to halt the scientific campaigns and elections. But even though his petition was framed in abusive language, court entertained it and examined it. But even when he was asked to defend himself for use of abusive language in his petition, Ssebadduka appeared in person before the Justices led by the Chief Justice Alfonse Owiny Dollo and abused them thoroughly. The justices looked on in shock as Ssebadduka hurled abuses at them. The others with the Chief Justice were Justices Stellah Arach Amoko, Faith Mwondha, Paul Mugamba, Ezekiel Muhanguzi, Percy Night Tuhaise and Mike Chibita.
The unapologetic Ssebadduka now has to spend three years in prison, since there is no other court for him to appeal. Only an unlikely event can lead the Supreme Court to review its decision. This could be production of proof of mental illness. An even more unlikely one would be clemency by the President.
