After days of intense lobbying and speculation Robert Kyagulanyi’s National Unity Platform (NUP) has announced its new leaders in Parliament with Joel Senyonyi becoming the youngest Leader of Opposition (LoP) . The position also comes with a hefty pay-cheque and benefits including government lead cars and escorts .
NUP the biggest opposition political party in the 11th parliament and the constitution provides that nominates a leader of opposition and a shadow cabinet in the national parliament.
