Just three weeks to go , the state of the art Speke Resort Convention Centre Munyonyo is getting ready to host two global events -the Non Aligned movement (NAM) summit and the G77 plus China conference . The center is set to be opened on 10th Jan 2024.
The Ruperalia Group of companies chairman Dr Sudhir Ruparelia has confirmed the opening date for the facility which can seat over 5,000 people .
Uganda will be hosting the Non Aligned Movement ( NAM) summit in the capital city Kampala from 15th – 19th January 2024 . Delegations from over f 120 countries are expected to attend.
During the summit the President of Uganda, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will take over as the Chairman of the organization from President Azerbaijan Aliyev of the Republic of Belarus until 2026.
At the same venue ,Uganda will also host the High Level International Summit of the Group of 77 Plus (China G77+China) in the same year.
