Kenya launches cargo train from Mombasa to Uganda’s border in Malaba
Kenya has launched a cargo train from Mombasa to Malaba to facilitate trade within the East African Community (EAC). Now the challenge is for Uganda to construct its SGR leg from Malaba to Kampala and connect Kasese and Pakwach on the railway line that will greatly reduce the lead times in the delivery of goods to Western and the West Nile regions .
