Uganda Baati Ltd part of the Safal Group one of the leading steel and roofing industry captains has appointed Jackie Tahakanizibwa as its new Head of External & Corporate Affairs.
This strategic move underscores the company’s commitment to strengthening its public policy influence and stakeholder engagement as it continues to lead in the competitive market.
Tahakanizibwa brings over a decade of experience in public policy, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications. Before joining Uganda Baati, she served as the Corporate Relations, Policy, and Regulatory Affairs Lead at Uganda Breweries Limited. Her leadership extended to her role as Chairperson of the Uganda Alcohol Industry Association, where she navigated complex regulatory landscapes and led industry advocacy efforts.
In her new role, Tahakanizibwa is expected to drive Uganda Baati’s corporate affairs agenda, deepen government and industry relations, and support the company’s growth objectives. Her appointment aligns with Uganda Baati’s vision to not only maintain its market leadership but also to actively shape the public policy and regulatory environment for the industry’s future.
