URA FC EDGE ETHIOPIAN COFFEE SC 2-1
Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Football Club edged visiting Ethiopian Coffee 2-1 during the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup (preliminary round) at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende , Sunday.
URA ‘s Steven Desse Mukwala scored twice for URA before William Solomon Tesfay pulled one back in a closely contested encounter giving the home boys a slim advantage going into the second leg slated for September 16th, 2021 .
The game played without fans saw the Ethiopian have a slow start to the game –losing possession in the midfield which allowed URA to register a two goal lead in the first half.
The visitors were transported in the Ugandan made Kayoola Diesel Coach – a luxury- high floor bus -the only one of a kind in east and Central Africa.
