Plascon Uganda, in partnership with Precious Impex, has officially opened a Colour Hero Store in Arua City — a strategic move aimed at strengthening its footprint in the West Nile region and enhancing service delivery to both professionals and individual customers.

The grand opening, brought together over 100 members of the Arua Plascon Painters Forum, dignitaries, business leaders, and members of the local community.

Among the key guests were Arua City Mayor Sam Wadri Nyakua, Resident City Commissioner (RCC) Salim Komakech, and Mr. Pretesh Kotesha, Head of the Indian community in Arua.

The new Colour Hero Store, housed at Precious Impex, is designed to offer a holistic customer experience focused exclusively on paint and colour.

It provides a one-stop solution for customers seeking product availability, colour consultancy, product specifications, literature, and the full Plascon range — all under one roof.

“This Colour Hero Store is more than just a business — it is a vote of confidence in Arua’s potential,” said  Sam Wadri Nyakua, the Mayor of Arua City.

“We welcome Plascon’s investment and celebrate this partnership that promises to empower our painters, serve our residents, and boost the economic vibrancy of the West Nile region,” he added.

Arua was identified as a strategic location due to its role as a major commercial hub for West Nile, serving a wide catchment area that includes the districts of Adjumani, Moyo, Terego, Madi-Okollo, Yumbe, Nebbi, Obongi, Maracha, Zombo, and Pakwach.

Plascon Colour Hero Stores are part of the company’s broader mission to deepen brand loyalty and provide a seamless, expert-driven customer experience across Uganda.

The stores are designed to support painters and contractors with the right tools and knowledge while inspiring homeowners and businesses with colour solutions tailored to their needs.

“At Plascon, we believe colour has the power to transform not just walls, but lives,” said Mr. Santosh Gumte, Managing Director of Plascon Uganda.

“This new Colour Hero Store in Arua brings our full expertise to the region — offering quality products, trusted advice, and a commitment to our customers and professional painters alike.”

The launch also featured the Arua Plascon Painters Forum who marched around the city while  highlighting the strength and solidarity of the region’s painting professionals.

While over 100 members attended, the association boasts an even larger network — a clear indication of the growing demand and interest in quality paint solutions.

The event marked a key milestone in Plascon’s ongoing expansion strategy, cementing its presence in northern Uganda and reaffirming its role as a trusted partner in the region’s construction and renovation sector.
