Ahead of two global summits slated to be hosted by Uganda next year , the Ruparelia Group of Companies led by entrepreneur Dr Sudhir Ruparelia has announced that the state of the art Speke Resort Convention Center will be opened on January 10th ,2024..
The two summits to be hosted by Uganda under the leadership of President Yoweri Museveni , are the Non-Alignment Movement (NAM)—with a membership of 120 countries seeking nonalignment with the world’s superpowers. it will run from January 15 to 19 2024 and the G77+China summit is set for January 21-23 , 2024.
The Convention Center can accommodate well over 4,000 guests at the same time one of the biggest in the EAC region .The center is all about serendipity .
A fortnight ago, President Yoweri Museveni last made an impromptu visit to the Convention site at and was impressed by the progress amid assurances from Sudhir that the facility will be ready to host the two mega summits.
