PRESIDENT PRESIDENT MUSEVENI DIRECTS UGANDA AIRLINES ,CAA TO ACT A HAVE A DIRECT FLIGHT TO LONDON
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has met the UK Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Uganda, H.E Lord Popat at Nakasero State Lodge. They discussed issues of mutual interest between Uganda and the United Kingdom, especially in the areas of; Health, Investment, Energy, Transport and Agriculture.
President Museveni also express regret that management of Uganda Airlines has not acted fast enough to introduce a direct flight from Entebbe to London in concerted effort to promote trade between the two countries . “The airline people are well paid . Why can’t they finish the issue of direct flights ? They are the enemy of the country ,” a fuming Museveni stated .
