The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party has sought to allay the suspicion around the being of Raila Odinga in the outfit.
Secretary-general Edwin Sifuna clarified that Raila was yet to forfeit his position in the party’s leadership as a local newspaper had asserted.
Sifuna said that despite his boss ditching the local politics to focus on his African Union Commission (AUC) chairmanship bid, he still remains the leader of the party.
“Several times, Raila Odinga has informed the country that he will be presenting himself for election to the position of chairman of the African Union Commission during elections to be held in February 2025.
