President Yoweri Museveni has paid tribute to the late Ezra Bunyeyezi saying he was “ wonderful citizen, a seasoned entrepreneur and a great patriot”.
“As we grieve the demise of the late Bunyenyezi, we also celebrate his exceptional exemplary life, which has been characterized by total commitment to family values and selfless service to his country,” President Museveni said in a condolence message which was delivered to the bereaved family by Minister of Information and National Guidance , Ms. Juidth Nabakooba.
The President said that the late Bunyenyeza was dedicated to the service of his Country and he served with diligence and humility. “He was very patriotic and he supported the Government in all our efforts. He always put his Country first, ahead of his personal interests”.
He added, “Uganda has lost a great Entrepreneur. Ezra’s passion for business has been one of the major aspects of his life. His knowledge and experience gathered during the long-span of his illustrious career, have been instrumental in promoting Uganda’s Private Sector. “
“The NRM government will continue to stand as a vanguard of justice, peace, security, democracy and reconciliation. The ideals of Anti-sectarianism, unity, liberation and transformation shall always guide our mission for a prosperous Uganda. “ The President contributed UGSHS.10M for the funeral expenses .
