The Minister of Lands , Housing and Urban Development , Hon. Judith Nabakooba has joined the muslim community for Eid Prayers in Mityana and urged them to embrace government’s much cherished Parish Development Model program to fight poverty .
Nabakooba called upon religious leaders to mobilise the people to actively participate in the government development programs to enhance household incomes stir economic growth national development . She said the youth should use their energies to engage in income generating activities and be law abiding citizens to avoid mistakes or being misled and manipulated by opportunists .
Hon. Nabakooba promised the people that she will continue to lobby for development support from the central government to transform Mityana district .
