KENYA’S PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE RAILA ODINGA MEETS UGANDA’S PRESIDENT MUSEVENI FOR TALKS AHEAD OF ELECTIONS
President Yoweri Museveni has hosted Kenyan presidential candidate , Raila Odinga who paid him a courtesy call at State House on Thursday. Odinga is contesting for the presidency in Kenya . The elections will be held in late August this year.
The two leaders discussed a wide range of issues.“I was happy to receive presidential candidate, Ralia Odinga, who paid me a courtesy call at State House Entebbe this evening. We discussed a wide range of issues concerning our two countries. I welcome him,”Museveni said in a tweet .
“We walked down memory lane to discuss the shared history of our countries aimed at forging stronger ties moving into the future. That formed the core of a pleasant discussion with President Museveni,”Odinga tweeted.
