Government In Talks With German E-Mobility Companies to Explore Investment Opportunities in Uganda
The Undersecretary Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Stephen Kyaterekera, this afternoon held a meeting with representatives of two German e-mobility Companies, Hofer Powertrain (Stuttgart, Germany) and Faissner Petermeier Fahrzeugtechnik AG (Munich).
Mr. Kyaterekera who represented the PS MOFA was flanked by Uganda’s Ambassador to Germany, Steven Mubiru.
Mr. Kyaterekera who welcomed the guests to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was informed that the German companies deal in e-mobility, battery making, brake-by-wire systems and other advanced car technologies that can benefit both Kiira Motors and National Enterprise Corporation(NEC).
The Under Secretary assured them of the Uganda Government’s support, encouraging them to investment in Uganda. He invited them to take the opportunity to explore Uganda, one of the world’s most amazing tourism destinations.
