A high level IGAD Conference on land conflict has been opened by the Vice President Jessica Alupo at Munyonyo Speke Resort in Kampala.
Alupo delivered a message from President Yoweri Museveni to the IGAD conference. “H.E the President commended neighbouring countries for maintaining a cordial relationship with Uganda, which has aided harmony and limited trans-boundary and cross-border conflicts in IGAD and EAC member states,” Alupo stated .
The IGAD conference is being held under the theme: “Access to justice and responsible Land Governance.” Among those attending is the Chief Justice A. Owiny- Dollo and Lands Minister Judith Nabakooba.
