Former controversial senior policeman Sam Omara appointed deputy CEO Arrow Security Services

Controversial retired senior policeman Sam Omara better known for his love for Buganda kingdom and leadership in quelling opposition leader Dr. Kizza Besigye’s walk-to-work protests in 2011, has landed a new job as the Deputy CEO Arrow Security Services.
Omara, the former Kampala North Police Operations Commander has been living a quiet life since retiring from the police force three years ago in 2020.
Capt Mike Mukula, the Chairman of Arrow Security Systems Limited introduced the retired Assistant Commissioner of Police, (ACP) Sam Omala, as their new Deputy CEO in charge of operations and said he will use his vast experience to help the company maintain peace and protect the property of Ugandans.

Speaking at the company’s offices in Luzira ,Mukula, said that many security officers retire when they can still do productive work and need to be placed in continuous employment to earn a living avoid being tempted to engaged in criminal activities .
Mukula explained that the company had decided to employ Omara because of his experience in security and would help junior officers be exposed to different tactics of keeping peace as well as discipline to acts of Gun killings by security officers in the country.
Afade Omala has applauded the management of Arrow security systems limited for their efforts to support police in keeping law and order in the country and has vowed to use his experience in security to help Arrow strengthen its system of keeping security in Uganda hence peace.
