Electoral Commission , Observers And Candidates’ Agents Receive First Batch Of Ballot Papers For 2026 General Elections
The Electoral Commission led by its Chairman Justice Simon Byabakama last night was at Entebbe international Airport to recieve the first batch of ballot papers ahead of the hotly contested 2026 general elections.
Others present to witness the exercise included accredited elections observers, media and candidates’ agents. The ballot papers are for the presidential and parliamentary elections slated for January 15th ,2026 .
The EC has maintained that it will hold free and fiar elections and thats why all key stakeholders were invoted to witness the arrival of the elections -to ensure transparency, integrity, and public trust.
