The Biometric Voter Verification Kit (BVVK) has a long-lasting battery of about 12–15 hours and works fully offline, making it suitable for hard-to-reach areas without electricity. In addition, each polling station is provided with two BVVK devices, one primary and one backup as well as backup power banks to ensure uninterrupted voting.
