UNRA Dispatches Equipment To Clear Weed Around Pakwach Bridge

A fleet of equipment has been dispatched to Pakwach bridge as an intervention to prevent possible cut off and damage to the bridge following a collection of floating vegetation around the bridge.
This after Uganda National Road Authority (UNRA) warned travelers to be cautious of a massive cluster of a floating papyrus towards the bridge .

The floating papyrus measuring about two acres is moving on the river Nile towards Pakwach bridge and could disrupt transport and crossing to the West Nile region is not stopped.
