UGANDA ALLOWS CHINESE NATIONALS TO BE VACCINATED AGAINST COVID-19
The Chinese government through its National Health Commission has written to the Ministry of Health of Uganda asking for permission to import COVID-19 vaccine for its nationals in Uganda.
According to the letter the Chinese government wants its nationals at the Liao Shen Industrial Park located in Kapeeka, Luwero district, to be vaccinated with the SARSCoV-2 inactivated vaccine (vero cell).
Accordingly, Uganda’s Health Minister has cleared the embassy to import the vaccines and a letter dated December,3,2020, Health Minister Acheng thanked the Chinese Gov’t for their efforts to find a vaccine for the deadly coronavirus that has left more than a million people dead across the globe.
