Presidential campaigns officially kicked -off with voters rooting for their respective candidates across the country . This follows an agreement among the candiates o n the campign program set out by the electoral commission (EC).
President Museveni was set to address rallies in Munyonyo, while other candates who include Kasibante in Mityana, Kyagulanyi in Jinja, Muntu in Buikwe, and Mafabi in Kawempe.
EC spokesperson Julius Mucunguzi, said that the commission is now prioritising ballot paper design and printing, alongside voter education initiatives.
