President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, has extended the contract of Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGP) ,Tom Magambo ,for another two year Magambo is the Director of the Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID.)
Magambo, who took on the role in January 2022, thanked President Museveni for his continued trust and reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining law and order, ensuring justice, and improving security nationwide.
During his tenure ,the CID has used technology to improve police investigations , ensured efficiency and greatly helped in the fight against crime The organization will continue with its intelligence-led policing and crime prevention strategies.
