In celebration of the academic excellence, innovation and research at Makerere university -the institution’s convocation has organized and given yet free luncheons for all the first class degree holders both at undergraduate, graduate and PHD holders with their loved ones.
Officials said this was to congratulate and give back event that bridges both the excellent graduates, with different employers from different inline sectors, ministries, industries and government agencies.
The event was created to acknowledge the efforts of the parents, excellent graduates and different employers to come and tap into these innovators and the highest concentration of celebral materials graduating from Makerere university.
It is also organised for students to thank and acknowledge different lecturers who taught them as well as building the spirit of Makerere university to keep in these graduates as they keep thinking of Makerere university as their home.
Makerere university convocation has also created a database of excellent graduates- so that no one ever suffers after graduation yet there always employment opportunities that happen in different sectors, agencies, ministries and industries.
The luncheon was served to the first class graduates of school of Law, COCIS, CAES and CEES, PHD students, Lecturers and their families.
