President Museveni has appointed Mr. Aggrey Kibenge, a seasoned civil servant, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Gender to replace Mr. Pius Bigyirimana who was moved to the judiciary as the accounting officer .
Kibenge has for over a year been waiting formal deployment after he passed the Public Service Commission interviews that had him elevated from the position of Under Secretary to Permanent Secretary (PS).
Sources told ugandaupdatenews.com that the instrument appointing Kibenge to his new work station was signed by President Museveni last week.
deploying him to Gender, a vast docket that has been without a substantive PS since the exit of legendary Pius Bigirimana.
Before his new positing Kibenge worked as under secretary at the Ministry of Education where he was reporting to the ministry ‘s PS Alex Kakooza under the political leadership of Mrs. Janet Museveni, the substantive Minister .
