KCCA SET FOR NEW LEADERSHIP AS PRESIDENT MUSEVENI DEPLOYS FRESH CADRES
President Yoweri Museveni has nominated Ms. Dorothy Kisaka the new substantive Executive Director of Kampala City Council Authority (KCCA) almost two years since a flamboyant Jennifer Musisi unceremoniously quit the position . The Kampala Capital City Authority Acting Executive Director, Eng. Andrew Kitaka and his Deputy Samuel Sserukuma will now resume their respective positions as Directors of Engineering .
According to sources, the Ministry of Public Service on Saturday wrote to relevant authorities including the Minister of Kampala Betti Amongi to inform them on the new proposed appointments . Ms. Kisaka the governance advisor in the office of the Prime Minister has replaced Andrew Mubiru Kitaka who served for 1 and half years in acting capacity.
The President has appointed four more directors including deputy KCCA executive director Eng. David Luyimbazi Saali who has replaced Samuel Sserunkuma.
“I’m writing to request you to interview for me the following persons and find out whether they are suitable for the indicated offices in Kampala Capital City Authority,” the president wrote in a letter to public service commission.
