Gen Kainerugaba New Army Commander , Asio Omwasa New PPS

President Yoweri Museveni, has reshuffled his cabinet, named his son Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba new Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and appointed Gloria Asio Omwasa, Principal Private Secretary. Gen Kainerugaba replaces Gen Wilson Mbadi , Omwasa replaces Dr. Kennth Omona.
In the reshuffle Museveni has dropped ministers Sempijja, Dr.Kitutu and Agnes Nanduttu. Gen Wilson Mbasu Mbadi is now the state Minister for Trade, Industry, and Cooperative Affairs charge of trade. Hon Vincent Ssempijja Appointed Senior Presidential Advisor.
Other Ministers Dropped from their Ministerial posts and Appointed Presidential Advisors are, Hon Kwiyucwiny Grace Freedom, Hon. Wanyoto Mutende, and Hon.Herriet Ntabaazi.

Hon Jacob Oboth has been appointed full minister of Defence and veterans Affairs.
Music Promoter and first son friend ,Balam Baruhagara, has been State Minister For Gender, Labor, and Social Development in charge of Youth and Children Affairs.
