Federation of Uganda Football Associations,( FUFA) released a list referees who will officiate the Startimes Uganda Premier league season 2025/26 with emphasis placed on professionalism and quality match officiation.
All the eight regions are represented with referees who have the national badge.
in order to improve officiating standards in Ugandan football referees have been given a 35% increment in allowances from Ug.Shs. 322M in the 2024-25 season to Ug.Shs. 432M in the new one .
Each referee in the UPL will earn up to Ug.Shs.500,000 per match in allowances.
last season ,FIFA referee Dick Okello ,officiated 22 games the highest in the Startimes Uganda Premier league.
