The leadership of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development Development congratulates HE President Yoweri Museveni on his swearing-in to lead Uganda for the next five years.
The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development is mandated to Establish, promote the development, Strategically Manage and Safeguard the rational and Sustainable Exploitation and Utilization of Energy and Mineral Resources for social and economic development. In pursuit of this, Energy and Mineral Development Sector has made significant progress towards the achievement of the National Development Objectives as spelled out in the National Development Plan II and in the NRM Manifesto 2016 – 2021
