A TEN MAN UGANDA CRANES FORCES A GOAL LESS DRAW WITH MALI AS UGANDAN MADE KIIRA MOTORS KAYOOLA COACH TRANSPORTS VISITORS

The Uganda Cranes braved a heavy down pour to force a goal-less draw against a physical Mali national football team in an entertaining game played at St. Mary’s Kitende stadium .

The game played on – artificial turf saw the Cranes’ defender Murushid Juuko given marching orders for elbowing the big man Ibrahima Kone.

Mali fielded some top European based players including – RB Leipzig player Amadou Haidara, Stade Rennais’ Hamari Traoré and second half substitute Adama Traore who plays for  Hatayspor in Turkey and all caused  trouble for a relatively young- new look  Cranes.

Uganda Cranes  now coached by  veteran -Milutin “Micho” Sredojevic -who says Uganda is his second home have registered two draws in their two opening games in a tough group for the 2022 Qatar World Cup . The next qualifiers will be played against Rwanda next month.

During the world Cup qualifier Uganda also showcased the Ugandan made Kayoola Diesel Coach – luxiour highfloor bus -the only one of a kind in east and Central Africa- after Fufa entered into a mutual partnership with Kiira Motors to transport the visiting Mali national team for all the time they were in Uganda .

The bus excited football loving Ugandans – went viral on social media and Executives at Kiira Motors have pledged to offer more buses to Fufa during the Rwanda World Cup qualifying game in Kampala next month.
