Uganda ‘s Minister Of Energy and Mineral Development Hon. Ruth Nanankabirwa speaking at the ministerial roundtable at the Africa Energy Forum whose theme was : Africa for Africa: Just Energy Transition: What does Africa Need?
Nankabirwa emphasized the need for for energy accessibility and fighting poverty. Her message therefore was energy Integration instead of transition per say since Africans who are energy poor have no energy to transition from. She also encouraged funders to continue funding oil and gas.
